SCORPION SAILING DINGHY ODIN’S RAVEN BUILT 1980/81 National Results as follows: - 1981 - 1st 1984 - 21st 1985 - 37th 1986 - 57th 1990 - 99th 1994 - 26th 1996 - 26th 2001 - 60th Length 4.27 m (14')Beam1.45 m (4'10") Hull Weight81 Kg Mainsail6.7 sq.m Jib3.25 sq.m Spinnaker 11.14 sq.m Odin’s Raven is equipped with 3 sails, main, jib & spinnaker (with pole). The jib was new in 2006. The spinnaker has a small tear which has been repaired. The alloy spars are by Super Spars of Fareham. The mast has a single set of swept back, adjustable spreaders. Spreader tension and mast angle is adjustable while sailing. All control lines are easily accessible by the helm or crew. The centreboard position is easily adjustable and the rudder will “kick up”. The hull and equipment are sound and free from major defects; she wears her 30 years well. There are a couple of places on the foredeck where the veneer has been over sanded; but the 2 pack varnish is new and sound.
